Project Intake

Project Pricing and Steps

STEP 1: You will need As-Built Plans before we can continue with design and permitting. As-Built Plans are your plans for your residence or commercial property as it was built and permitted. You can get these by calling the city or county records office and request them (online in some jurisdictions). Many times, they will not have them if your property is older than 2004.

If you cannot obtain them, we offer As-Builts Plans for $1700.00 per 2500 square feet. We will schedule time to come out and scan your property in 3D and generate your floor plans, see the link to the right for more information.

STEP 2: We will supply you with a proposal for design and permitting.

STEP 3: We will sign the contract for permitting and design of your new endeavor. $6500.00 per 2500 square feet for Residential design. $7500.00 per 2500 square feet for Commercial design. Smaller projects will be proposed on a case-by-case basis.

STEP 4: You will receive a proposal from the engineer. $2500.00 Approximately depending on jurisdiction, area and project type. Many projects may not require.

STEP 5: We will submit your project to city or county development department.

Permit Cost $451.00 and up.

STEP 6: City or county may request additional reports depending on jurisdiction, area and project type. i.e., soils, history or coastal commission.

STEP 7: You will receive your building permit.

STEP 8: We will supply you with a building proposal.

STEP 9: We will build your new endeavor.

STEP 10: You will receive your Certificate of Occupancy.

STEP 11: Complete
